Loving our neighbors just as God loves us!

 Mission and Vision:

"Appalachian Community Mission seeks to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through:-

  . resource sharing,

  . racial reconciliation,

  . Christian spiritual formation,

  . creation awareness and

  . creative partnerships."

We believe that every human being is made in God's image and should be treated with dignity and respect. Our desire is to help people in the name of Jesus in such a way that is uplifting, neither degrading nor humiliating.

Any one of us is capable of going through hard times and the body of Christ must be there for its members in times of need.

We must also be willing to reach beyond the walls of our houses of worship to show people this love in tangible ways.

"If any member suffers, all suffer together; if one members is honored, all rejoice together" 1 Cor. 12:26
Ryan Snuffer is a Beckley native. He has served in various ministry capacities including youth pastor,
associate pastor, interim senior pastor and education director. He is also the former director of the Christian Resource Center.
He is an author and conference speaker,

and regularly fills the pulpit for churches in need.
Despite all of his time in the church, his real heart for ministry is wherever people are who most need love and support.
It was this passion that ultimately led him to begin Appalachian Community Mission, a new ministry that would help meet the needs of people in the community who are hurting the most.

"Lord when did we see hungry and feed you, or thirsty and gave you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? and when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me" Matthew 25:37-40
