Appalachian Community Mission
those in need
We believe that every human being is made in God's image and should be treated with dignity and respect.
We partner with churches and other charitable organizations as well as individual donors to help address overwhelming needs.
Through the Benevolence Fund, to offer financial and other assistance to those in need.
"If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together"
1 Corinthians 12:26
Appalachian Community Mission is a 501(c)3 tax exempt charitable organization.
There are millions of families faced with special challenges requiring extra financial, emotional, and spiritual support.
Appalachian Community Mission is here to help meet needs on all these levels for families and individuals with special needs.
Ryan Snuffer is a Beckley native. He has served in various ministry capacities including youth pastor, associate pastor, interim senior pastor, and education director. He is also the former director of the Christian Resource Center.
He is an author and conference speaker who regularly fills the pulpit for churches in need.
Despite all his time in the church, his real heart for ministry is wherever people are who most need love and support.
It was this passion that led to begin Appalachian Community Mission- a ministry that would help meet the needs of people in the community who are hurting most.
Dr. Ryan Snuffer
Founder and Board Chairman
"Lord, when did we see you hungry and fed you, or thirsty and gave you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and clothed you? and when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?
And the King will answer them, truly I say to you, as you did to the least of these my brothers, you did to me."
